Are BCAAs Still Relevant Post-Workout if I'm Already Drinking Whey?

Hey fellas, quick question about BCAAs. I've always taken them religiously post-workout, usually mixed in with my water bottle. But lately, I've been reading a lot of conflicting info and it's got me wondering if they're even necessary.

I'm already slamming a scoop of whey protein isolate immediately after my session, which obviously has a full spectrum of amino acids, including BCAAs. So, is adding a separate BCAA supplement just redundant? Am I literally just peeing out expensive aminos?

Some articles say it's overkill if you're hitting your protein macros and using whey. Others still swear by them for recovery and muscle protein synthesis. What's the general consensus here among the seasoned lifters? Should I save my money or keep chugging those BCAAs?
