@LondonLad you need more dry ingredients. Add some ground flax or just more oats. They are way cheaper than buying bars.
Don't forget pumpkin seeds (pepitas). They actually have more protein per gram than many other nuts.

Yeah they're a powerhouse. I buy them in bulk at the health food store. Much cheaper than the small bags in the baking aisle.
I'm going to try the blended cottage cheese with some hot sauce tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I just tried the roasted chickpeas VancouverDave mentioned. I might have overcooked them—they're like little rocks lol.
LOL! You gotta toss them in a bit of oil first and keep an eye on them. 20 mins at 400F is usually plenty.
Anyone here do tinned sardines? High protein and omega-3s. Super cheap but... definitely an "outside" snack if you like your job.
