Cheap protein options in Canada (NoFrills/Real Can Superstore)
Don't toss the yolks! That's where the vitamins are. Just fit them into your macros.
Another one: No Name Tofu. It's usually like $2.50 for a block and has like 40-50g of protein. Even if you aren't vegan, it's a massive money saver.
Tofu! I always walk right past it. I'll try air-frying some this weekend. Any seasoning tips?
Press the water out first, then toss in soy sauce, garlic powder, and a bit of cornstarch for crunch. You'll thank me later.
Also, check the 'International' aisle. Huge bags of dried beans are way cheaper than the canned ones in the main aisles.
The international aisle at Superstore is basically a cheat code for fitness on a budget. Spices are cheaper there too.
This has been super helpful. My next grocery run is going to be much more efficient. Cheers everyone!
