Alright chaps, I have been using standard creatine monohydrate for years and it has always worked a treat for me. I usually cycle on and off it, taking about 5 grams a day. I have seen some decent gains in strength and power, especially for my bench press.

However, lately I have been seeing a lot of buzz about creatine HCL. People are saying it is more soluble, requires a smaller dose, and might cause less bloating. I have never really had issues with bloat from monohydrate, but if there is a more efficient form for strength and recovery, I am all ears.

Has anyone here made the switch from monohydrate to HCL? Or perhaps tried both extensively? I am keen to hear if the benefits are noticeable enough to justify the often higher price point. My goal is maximum strength and muscle recovery, so any real-world comparisons of creatine monohydrate versus HCL would be super helpful before I consider buying a new tub.
