The ring idea is great! I already have a pair from my old calisthenics days. I'll try hanging them from the rack today.

Don't forget a barbell holder. It's just a vertical tube that bolts to the rack. Keeps the bar out of the way when you're doing bodyweight stuff or using the rack for storage. Keeps the gym floor tidy.

I keep my extra bar leaning in the corner, but a holder would definitely look more "pro". Might have to pick one up.

If you're really on a budget, use pool noodles! I wrapped them around my safety pins to dampen the noise. Costs about $2 and works until you can afford proper nylon straps.

Haha, the classic DIY pool noodle trick. It works! Just make sure they don't slide off mid-set. Great suggestions everyone, this list is solid for any new home gym owner.
