I am starting a female powerlifters accountability group for North America. I am tired of being the only woman in the heavy lifting section of my gym. I want to connect with other women who love the big three lifts and want to get as strong as possible.

We can share videos for form checks and talk about everything from knee sleeves to meet preparation. I want this to be a place where we can celebrate each other strength and share our personal records.

Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced lifter, please join us! I am hoping to create a really supportive environment where we can all grow together. Reply here if you want to be added to our group chat.

Count me in! I'm down in Austin and it is exactly the same here—mostly guys hogging the squat racks and giving unsolicited advice. I'm training for my first meet in August and could really use some ladies to keep me focused on my programming.

I would love to join this. I'm in Toronto and usually train alone in my basement because the commercial gyms are too crowded. Having a group to share video clips for form checks would be amazing.

Same here! I'm in the PNW. Are we thinking of a WhatsApp group or just keeping the check-ins here on the forum? I find it helpful to share weekly PRs and talk through the mental blocks of heavy singles.

I was thinking a mix of both! We can do a weekly progress thread here and maybe a Discord for real-time chat. OntarioPower, form checks are a great idea—it’s so hard to tell if your depth is there on your own.

Even though I'm over in the UK, I'd love to lurk and offer support if that's alright? The powerlifting community here is growing but it's always good to see how the North American lasses are training. Different kit, different vibes!

The more the merrier, Yorkshire! Honestly, the mental game is the same no matter the timezone. Anyone else struggling with bench press lately? I feel like I've hit a plateau that just won't budge.

Bench is the worst for me too. I'm in the Midwest and the cold weather makes my joints feel like they're made of glass. I'd definitely be down for a North American accountability group to keep me from hibernating.

ChicagoLifts, I feel that! The Canadian winters make the garage gym sessions brutal. We should definitely have a 'No Excuses' check-in for the winter months.

Alright, let's make it official. Weekly check-ins every Sunday evening (EST) to post our wins and our goals for the following week. Does that work for everyone?

Works for me! Gives me something to look forward to after my long Sunday sessions.

Perfect. I'm going to post my current stats tonight so I have a baseline. Let's get it!

That's the spirit. Wish we had a dedicated group like this for the North of England—might have to start my own after seeing yours get off the ground!

Go for it, Yorkshire! Actually, StrongSisterhood, are we keeping this strictly to Powerlifting (S/B/D) or are we cool with some Olympic lifting talk too? I dabble in cleans occasionally.

I'd say let's keep the focus on the Big Three, but honestly, any heavy lifting is welcome. The goal is accountability for the strength journey.

Quick question—is anyone here following a specific program like 5/3/1 or Juggernaut? Would love to chat about accessory work that actually helps.

I'm on a custom block from a coach right now, but I've done 5/3/1 in the past. It's great for consistency. For accessories, I swear by Romanian deadlifts for fixing my squat morning issues.

RDLs are life-savers. Also, don't sleep on face pulls for shoulder health. When you start benching heavy every week, your rotators will thank you.

Face pulls are a staple in my flat's gym setup. Small but mighty.

Love seeing the tips already. I've just set up a Discord server for the group—check your DMs for the link. Let's keep the motivation high!
