Is it true HMB only works for beginners? I've seen some studies saying advanced lifters don't get much from it.
That study is often misinterpreted. Advanced lifters don't see massive gains from HMB, but the preservation effect during a caloric deficit is still very relevant.
I'm sticking to my steaks and eggs. Whole food is always the best anti-catabolic anyway.
