I'm a bit more 'auto-regulated' with it. If I wake up and feel like I've been hit by a lorry, I'll take a couple of easy days. But if the numbers are still going up, I keep pushing.

That's the 'prep brain' talking, London! In the off-season, we have to be smarter. Even if I feel good, I take that 5th or 6th week a bit lighter just to stay ahead of the curve.

One last tip for Jersey: take videos of your top sets. Sometimes you think you're overloading, but your range of motion is getting shorter as the weight gets heavier. The camera doesn't lie.
