@Dragustav that's my fear. My 'gym' is a 10x10 corner of the basement, so a full rack is impossible. I guess it’s a compromise one way or the other.

It's the best compromise available. Trust me, once you're midway through a heavy set of chest presses, you'll appreciate the solidity over the convenience of a dial-turner.

Thanks for all the input everyone! I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the 75lb set with the stand. I'll report back once I've done a few sessions with them.

Good choice, Dave. Make sure to check out the 'Kettlebell Handle' add-on for those later. It uses the same plates and is a total game changer for home workouts.
