Exactly. A perfect set with 10kg plates is better than a shaky one with 20s. Get that technique locked in. See you at the top!

One last thing Mike, if you do get the barbell bug, check out some YouTube videos on "the roll of shame". Hopefully you never need it, but it's good to know just in case!

Haha, the roll of shame! I've been there. It's a rite of passage for every garage lifter. But yes, pins are definitely preferred for safety.

I’m still team machine for the sheer mind-muscle connection. I find it so much easier to feel my pecs working when I don't have to balance a bar.
