Taking it fasted is fine, but it might lower your blood sugar a bit too much if you're already doing Keto or intermittent fasting. Just keep an eye on how you feel during your morning workouts.

Good point Dave. I usually have mine with a small meal just to be safe. It’s not technically a stimulant, so it shouldn't break a fast in terms of insulin spike, but better safe than sorry.

Actually, LondonLad, Inositol is often used to *lower* insulin spikes, so it’s actually quite popular in the fasting community. It shouldn't break your fast at all.

This forum is better than a doctor’s office sometimes. Thanks for the education everyone.

I agree! I’m going to start with the 2g dose tonight and see how the sleep goes. I’ll report back in a week to let you know if the 'recovery' aspect feels better.

Good luck FitFemme! Make sure to keep your room cool and dark too. Inositol helps, but it can’t fight a warm apartment and a bright phone screen!

Took my first dose about 20 mins ago. It really is surprisingly sweet. Like a very mild icing sugar. Not bad at all.

Told you! It’s the easiest supplement to take. I’ve even put it in my morning porridge before.

Porridge? Very British of you. I’ll stick to my tea. Looking forward to hearing your update FitFemme.

One last question—any brands to avoid? I saw some cheap stuff on Amazon but the reviews said it was clumpy.

Avoid anything that doesn't state the exact Myo/D-Chiro ratio. Clumping usually means moisture got in, which isn't great. Stick to the reputable labs we mentioned earlier.
