Top 10 Best Electrolyte Drinks for Hydration Review
Has anyone heard of Ultima Replenisher? It's quite popular in the states I think. It’s got 6 different electrolytes.
Ultima is good for general health, but again, too low in sodium for heavy athletes. Great for hangovers though!
Hangovers? Now you have my attention lol.
If we're talking hangovers, Pedialyte is the undisputed king. There's a reason they sell it in the baby aisle but keep it stocked in college towns.
Pedialyte is a bit thick for me. The texture is almost syrupy. I'd rather have an ORS (Oral Rehydration Salt) packet from the chemist.
Dioralyte is the UK equivalent. Tastes like salty blackcurrant but man does it fix you up quickly.
So to recap the 'Top 10': LMNT for athletes, Nuun for convenience, BioSteel for clean ingredients, and Pedialyte for the 'rough mornings'. Anything else missing?
Maybe Scratch Labs? They use real fruit for the flavouring and it's very easy on the stomach for runners.
Oh yeah Skratch is solid. A bit pricier but high quality.
I’ll stick to my BioSteel. If it's good enough for the NHL, it's good enough for my local beer league.
Don't forget the SiS Hydro tabs. They are almost always on 3-for-2 at Boots or Holland & Barrett here.
Thanks everyone. This is way better than reading those sponsored 'Best 10' articles that just want you to click their links.
