The weather is finally starting to get better here in London and it is time to get serious about the cut. I am looking for the best thermogenic stack for summer shredding in the UK. I want something that helps with my energy levels while I am on low carbs and helps with my appetite control.

I am looking at a stack that includes Caffeine, L-Carnitine, and maybe some Capsicum extract. I have heard that some people use Rauwolscine for fasted cardio but I am not sure if it is easy to get here. I want to keep my intensity high during my morning runs and my evening lifting sessions.

What is your go to stack when you are trying to get really lean? I am looking for something that is effective but does not make me feel like I am having a panic attack. I would love to hear your suggestions for a clean and powerful cutting stack for the next twelve weeks!

I hear you, ShreddedLondon. The weather has been decent lately! For a UK-based stack, I usually stick to the basics: Caffeine, L-Carnitine, and Green Tea Extract. Most of the 'hardcore' US stuff is banned over here anyway, so don't waste your money importing anything dodgy.

Totally agree with the L-Carnitine. I take it 30 mins before my fasted cardio in the morning. It definitely helps with the sweat levels, even if the gym is freezing!

Wait, is Yohimbine still banned in the UK? I'm over in the States and that's a staple for our summer shredding stacks. It’s great for that stubborn lower back fat.

Yeah Mike, Yohimbine is a no-go in the UK. Customs will seize it in a heartbeat. We usually swap it for Rauwolscine if we can find it, or just stick to higher doses of green coffee bean extract.

I'm in Canada and we have similar restrictions. I’ve found that stacking 200mg of caffeine with some 5-HTP helps keep the 'hanger' away when the calories get low. Shredding for the beach in Vancouver is basically a local sport.

Don't forget the basics. If your diet isn't in a deficit, no amount of thermogenics will save you. I usually add some Capsicum extract to my stack. It gives that 'burn' feeling without the jitters.

Does anyone use Forskolin? I heard it's good for preserving lean mass while cutting.

I’ve used Forskolin. It’s okay, but honestly, it’s a bit hard on the stomach if you aren't used to it. If you're in London, just pop into a local shop and look for 'Grenade'—it’s a classic UK fat burner that’s pretty reliable for a first-timer.

Grenade is good but the caffeine hit is massive. I had to stop taking it because I couldn't sleep in my flat after an evening session. If you train late, be careful!

That’s why I prefer a non-stimulant thermogenic for the afternoon. Things like Paradoxine (Grains of Paradise) are awesome for increasing calorie burn without keeping you awake.

Grains of Paradise is legit. I get a noticeably higher body temp when I take that before my morning walk. It’s great for the Vancouver drizzle.

Is Paradoxine easy to find in Canada? In the UK it's starting to show up in more premium stacks.

Yeah, a few of the local supplement shops in BC carry it now. Pricey though.

I personally think the best stack is just Black Coffee + Ephedrine if you can get it, but I know the UK is super strict on that. Over here in Texas, we keep it simple.

Ephedrine is a prescription drug here, TXguy. No way to get it legally for fitness. We have to be a bit more creative with things like Synephrine (Bitter Orange Extract).

Synephrine gives me such a headache! I prefer just sticking to high-dose Green Tea pills and a lot of water. It’s safer and easier on the wallet.

Does anyone include CLA in their shredding stack? I’ve seen mixed reviews on whether it actually works.

CLA is a waste of money IMO. You’d have to take massive amounts for it to have any effect on body comp. Better off spending that money on quality protein powder.

Totally agree with Mike. CLA is old school and mostly debunked for significant fat loss. Focus on the 'big hitters' that actually increase your metabolic rate.
