Absolutely, NorthernLass! And on the shoe front, if you do get to a proper shop, try out a few brands. I'm a big fan of Brooks, they've got good cushioning for my knees, but everyone's different. Good luck with Week 4!
One last thing, NorthernLass - track your progress! Even if it's just logging in the C25K app. Seeing how far you've come is incredibly motivating, especially on those tough days. Keep up the great work!
