Another pro tip: to get it off painlessly, soak it in baby oil or olive oil for a few minutes. It breaks down the adhesive so it slides right off without taking your top layer of skin with it.

Solid advice. I’ve been using it for my ACL rehab and it’s definitely helped me feel more confident during my lateral movements. It’s a tool in the kit, not a miracle cure.

Good stuff, everyone. I think I'll pick up a roll of RockTape tomorrow and try the 'Y' strip Dave mentioned. My knees will thank me during my next squat session.

Good luck, Mike! Make sure your knee is bent at about 90 degrees when you apply it so the tape has enough room to move when you straighten your leg.

Exactly. If you apply it with a straight leg, it’ll be way too tight when you go into a squat and will probably just snap off.

One last thing—don't forget to rub the tape after you put it on! The heat from the friction activates the adhesive. It makes a huge difference in how long it lasts.

Glad we could help, JerseyJoe. Let us know if the tape helps your workouts feel a bit more stable!
